When was the last time you stopped and did nothing, literally nothing for 30 seconds or more?
I am not talking about waiting for the bus or train.
I mean to be with yourself for 30 seconds, just breathing, allowing yourself to drift in your thoughts, or think about the breathing.
Well, if you haven’t, let’s take a challenge for the next 3 days :
- Picture a place where you’re every day at the same time. It can be a bedroom, bathroom, office, restroom, you pick.
- Pick a time where you’ll be there and you want to challenge yourself.
- At that particular time, and chosen place, leave your phone away, don’t talk to anyone. Just be with yourself. Sit on the edge of a chair or sofa. Close your eyes, and breathe for 30 seconds. Only think about the flow of air.
That’s it, for the first time in many days, weeks, months or years you have been living in the PRESENT…
