It’s not about talent

The difference between succeeding or failing at our goal is not about talent or skills.

Skills are required, they help us get there, they are a means of making things easier for us.

Skills are enablers that make us be able to perform actions and think in a certain way.

You may be able to create wealth through management of real estate, but if you do not want to get wealthy, you will never be.

What makes you reach your goal is how much you want it.

If you don’t really want it, you won’t give it your best effort, you may quit in the way.

But if you push through difficulties with a strong desire to get something done, not much can stop you, probably only acts of God, outside your control.

The question is, how do you get to want it a lot. To have a strong drive, you need a deep rooted motive to achieve it.

The real question is then, WHY do you want to achieve that goal?

If the answer to that question is deeply meaningful to you, it will keep you fighting when things get difficult. Write it down on a piece of paper and stick it to the wall in front of your desk.
