Sometimes we try and persist doing something and it does not work.
We are caught up in a way of doing things that is unproductive and we cannot find a way to make progress.
Here is the deal: pause for a while, and try the opposite.
Let’s say for instance that you are desperately trying to go workout in the evening, but no matter what something always comes up: dinner with friends, late working hours. The morning you tell yourself that today’s the day… and no… it doesn’t happen. Well, wake up earlier and do it in the morning. By swapping time you may find a breakthrough.
Sometimes, being radical about a change can bring light to a situation. And you will for sure know if you lost your time or not.
You just need to make sure that the chance you will radically make is reversible.
It does not always bring results, but if you’re stuck, there is no way out, and trying the opposite is reversible, then you have no risk not trying, and potential gain on the other side.
Have you experienced such a situation and solved it using that approach? Please share it in the comment section.
